TURSA is committed to giving back to the community

At Tursa Employment & Training, we recognise the importance of contributing to the community in which we serve, the environment in which we operate, the industries we partner with, as well as our key stakeholders and shareholders. We understand that all of these entities are important drivers for community growth, health and well­being.

TURSA therefore provides significant support to local organisations and contributes to the social and economic development and well-being of our community.

TURSA strives to ensure that our sponsorship and community-centred programmes allow us to foster positive and mutually beneficial relationships with our community. These genuine relationships are not only formed through our support, but also through the contribution and transference of valuable skills, expertise and knowledge.

TURSA is partnered with many sponsorship activities and events across the Mid-North Coast, North Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane South East, Wivenhoe, Somerset, Wide Bay and Sunshine Coast every year. These sponsorship partnerships involve small community based projects all the way up to contributions to significant community activities and events.

Since our inception, TURSA has also promoted a clear policy that strongly encourages the purchasing of goods and services from local organisations and businesses. This demonstrates a clear, pragmatic example of our commitment to support and give back to our community. Buying local wherever possible makes good social and economic sense, and contributes towards job creation.
