Welcome to TURSA’s 30th Anniversary Celebration! For three decades, we have been dedicated to supporting and empowering our local community. To mark this milestone, the Board of Directors is announcing the TURSA Community Grant Program. An investment of $1,000,000 towards community services. This program is targeting not-for-profits with an average amount of up to $30,000 or more per grant.

- Applications Close: 13 June 2025
- Advising Successful Applicants: July – August 2025

The grant funding aims to:
- Enhance capacity of local not-for-profits to deliver impactful programs.
- Strengthen support networks for unemployed and individuals at risk of unemployment.
- Promote collaboration and partnerships among community organisations, government programs, and other stakeholders.
- Provide funding and support for projects aligned with TURSA’s vision and mission: Who We Are | Tursa Employment & Training

Your organisation needs to:
- Be a registered not-for-profit organisation with ACNC and active ABN
- Operate in TURSA’s service areas (see website)
- Have an annual turnover of less than $2 million dollars is preferred.
Items that may be considered ineligible and are unlikely to be funded without prior approval include:
- Items purchased prior to approval
- Grant writer or grant assistance fees
- Management fees
- Alcohol, vouchers, gifts or prizes
- Purchases from overseas suppliers
- Money budgeted or set aside for contingencies or costs not yet incurred
- General operating/recurring costs
- Repayment of debts and loans
- Overseas travel
- Member or staff social events
