Jobactive provides tailored assistance to job seekers who, for a variety of reasons, have not been able to secure a job for some time or are wishing to re-enter the workforce. TURSA’s role is to help participants learn the current skills and experience required to build their confidence and ensure they are employment ready for the current job market.
The Transition to Work Program supports young people by providing pre-employment skills, work experience placement, training and post-placement support. What this means is that we will assist you to:
- develop practical skills
- obtain education and/or training
- complete work experience placements to give you
- recent employment experience
- connect with local job opportunities
- engage with relevant local community services
Our Youth Advisers are well experienced and qualified. They know the local job market and will help you navigate any challenges you face. Their objective is to make an individual and tailored plan with you.
