Our DES Team Get to Know You
When a participant begins their journey with us, we start by understanding their unique circumstances, abilities, and employment aspirations. With this information, we collaborate with the participant to create a personalised employment plan.
We Provide Ongoing Support
Throughout this process, our team of experienced and qualified Disability Employment Advocates provides comprehensive support. They maintain regular, face-to-face appointments with participants to guide them and monitor their progress.
Respect and consultation are at the heart of our approach. We ensure participants are part of the decision-making process at all times, and we adapt our services based on their feedback and changing needs.
We Help You Find Suitable and Sustainable Employment
We focus on the strengths and abilities of each participant, as well as their potential skills and employment goals. This helps us provide the right kind of support, whether it’s job readiness training, resume preparation, interview coaching, or liaising with potential employers.
Furthermore, we provide ongoing support even after a participant secures a job. This includes on-the-job support for 52 weeks, helping participants adapt to their new roles and overcome any challenges they may encounter.
