We proudly provide free assistance for jobseekers and employers. Our services include recruitment, skills matching and supporting local communities with employment support. So if you are an employer looking for the right staff or a job seeker looking for the right employer, think TURSA. For over 27 years, TURSA has provided job assistance, sponsorship and recruitment services in regional communities. TURSA.COM.AU – We are Your Employment Agency.
We are a not-for-profit, independent organisation founded in 1994 out of the personal experience of long-term unemployment to address unemployment and alleviate the disadvantages suffered by people of the region.
Our core business activity is all about jobs: finding jobs for people who need work, finding workers for businesses that need vacancies filled and preparing and training participants for employment through our Registered Training Organisation.
From a staff of one in May 1995, TURSA now employs around 400 staff. We provide services to thousands of clients from 58 conveniently located offices from Forster (NSW) to Noosaville (QLD).
We are wholly committed to addressing the needs of disadvantaged people in our community through our constitutional objectives since our registration as an organisation and a Public Benevolent Institution in 1994.
That commitment came from the personal experiences, beliefs, and values of management and staff living in an area characterised by low average levels of income and high levels of unemployment and disadvantage – both actual and comparative – due to the challenging environment for employment and careers.
TURSA provides essential services and support to Indigenous clients, people with disabilities, single and partnered parents, long term unemployed participants, young persons, mature aged persons, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and early school leavers.

We understand that all of these entities are essential drivers for community growth, health and wellbeing, which is why they drive every decision we make.
Since our inception, TURSA has promoted a clear policy that strongly encourages purchasing goods and services from local organisations and businesses. This demonstrates a clear, pragmatic example of our commitment to support and give back to our community. Buying local wherever possible makes good social and economic sense and contributes to job creation.
TURSA provides significant support to local organisations and contributes to our community’s social and economic development and well-being. We strive to ensure that our sponsorship and community-centred programmes allow us to foster positive and mutually beneficial relationships with our community.
