What jobs offer wage subsidies?
- Restart: up to $10,000 for employees 50 years of age and over
- Youth Bonus: up to $10,000 for employees 15 to 24 years of age
- Youth: up to $10,000 for employees 25 to 29 years of age
- Parents: up to $10,000 for employees who are a principal carer parent
- Long Term Unemployed: up to $10,000 for employees who have been registered with an employment services provider for 12 months.
- Indigenous Australians: up to $10,000 if all eligibility requirements are met

What if the person does not work out?
- We work closely with you and the participant to hopefully mitigate any potential challenges early on. If the person is not a good match, we will support you in finding another suitable candidate.
- We offer participants mentoring and mediation to ensure communication stays open and strong
What Jobs offer wage subsidies?
There are three types of wage subsidies available:
- Participants aged up to and including 24, and/or
- participants with mutual obligations who have commenced the Transition to Work Programme with us.
- Amount – fixed at $10,000 or 100% of the cost of wages paid, whichever amount is lower.
- Time Period – fixed at 26 weeks.
- Employment Hours – Minimum average hours – fixed at 20 hours per week.
- Participants who are aged 25 and older.
- Amount – Up to a maximum of $10,000 or 100% of the cost of wages paid, whichever amount is lower.
- Time Period – Maximum of 26 weeks.
Inclusive Employment Australia offers Wage Subsidies of up to $10,000 to support employers who hire eligible participants for ongoing roles of at least 8 hours per week. This financial incentive helps offset upfront hiring costs and supports sustainable employment outcomes.
Subsidy levels are tailored to the hours offered and the Participant’s work capacity:
- Level 1: Up to $3,000 for 8+ hours/week
- Level 2: Up to $5,000 for 15+ hours/week
- Level 3: Up to $7,500 for 23+ hours/week
- Level 4: Up to $10,000 for 20+ hours/week if the participant is under 25.
All agreements are negotiated before employment begins and run for a fixed 26-week term. Employers must have a Workforce Australia Online for Business account and meet eligibility criteria.
