A Workforce to Suit Your Business

If you are looking for staff, TURSA can support you as a Workforce Australia provider. We can do this by:

Providing fee-free referrals of potential employees for your business with access to a pool of diverse participants.
Provide pre-employment, and post-employment training for TURSA referred participants to meet your specific staffing needs.
Provide post placement support after your employee starts work to settle them into the role.
Access wage subsidies of up to $10,000 (GST inclusive) for eligible participants.

List your vacancy on our Jobs Board.
Our staff will review your listing and contact you to ensure we fully understand the requirements and your expectations as an employer.
We make your listing live, ensuring the job description aligns with our discussions.
We promote the vacancy on our website, across social media, to our strategic partners and local site offices.
We review the applications carefully against your requirements.
We shortlist suitable applicants.
We make interview rooms available if required.
We assess potential applicants for any skills gaps and provide additional training and job readiness support either before commencement or on-the-job.
We review wage subsidies available and manage them to ensure your employment outlay is minimised.
We ensure workplace modifications are arranged and funded where applicable.
We provide post-placement support to both you and the participant for at least 26 weeks while they settle into the role to support long term success.
If the match is not ideal, we will engage a replacement applicant for you.

Potential Wage Subsidies Available

If you hire an employee through Workforce Australia, you may be eligible for a $10,000 subsidy. Subsidy for the following participants:

1. Workforce Australia Youth Bonus Wage Subsidy (YBWS) available to:

- Participants aged up to and including 24, and/or
- participants with mutual obligations who have commenced the Transition to Work Programme with us.

YBWS has three criteria:

- Amount – fixed at $10,000 or 100% of the cost of wages paid, whichever amount is lower.
- Time Period – fixed at 26 weeks.
- Employment Hours – Minimum average hours – fixed at 20 hours per week.

2. The Workforce Australia Services Wage Subsidy (WASWS)is available to:

- Participants who are aged 25 and older.

WASWS has two criteria:

- Amount – Up to a maximum of $10,000 or 100% of the cost of wages paid, whichever amount is lower.
- Time Period – Maximum of 26 weeks.

Participants may be eligible to attract a wage subsidy 6 months after commencing employment services.

Indigenous Australian participants may get immediate access to wage subsidies if all eligibility requirements are met.
