How Our Laidley Team Works With You
Our Laidley Disability Employment Services team works closely with participants, using a personalised, participant-centred model. This approach is rooted in our belief that each individual’s journey to employment is unique and that tailored services will help ensure long-lasting employment.
Getting to Know and Understand DES Participants
From the outset, our experienced and qualified Disability Employment Advocates engage in an in-depth consultation process with each participant. This consultation focuses on understanding the participant’s strengths, abilities, current skill set, potential skills, and employment goals. This is the basis of the individualised job plan and service crafted for each participant.
Maintaining Open Two-Way Communication
Communication between our Laidley DES team and participants is met with openness, respect, and empathy. We advocate for ongoing communication, ensuring that participants are consulted and involved in decisions about their employment plan every step of the way. As participants progress, our disability employment services evolve to continuously meet the needs of their goals.
Providing Opportunities Based on Your Potential
At TURSA, we prioritise leveraging strengths, abilities, and potential as the core of our approach. This enables us to offer the right, individualised support, ranging from job-readiness training and resume preparation to liaising with potential employers. And then once placed, we continue to provide on-the-job support for up to 52 weeks, ensuring a smooth transition into sustainable employment.
TURSA collaborates alongside participants, providing the necessary guidance, resources, and support to assist them in achieving their employment goals. The participant’s journey is marked by dignity, respect, and mutual cooperation, reflecting our commitment to empowering participants to succeed.
